I appreciate the fact that this is built in its own engine, and you made every other part of this, but it plays super janky. The mechanics of any of the objects that move you apply speed to your character in an unexpected and confusing way- Almost seemingly random.
take, for example the first level with the block you have to stand on to move.
Jumping launches you in that direction, and because you have to jump to get it to turn directions, (especially if you want to get coins) you feel like you have to redirect yourself.
Having tried it multiple times, i figure, ok, easy, redirect after jump
But every time you jump, it either doesn't launch you how you expect and you fall, or it launches you in a direction or at a speed you cant account for.
Same with the speed pads, you seemingly jump faster than you would running foward.
Maybe it was just me, but it was frustrating

Thanks for your comment bro, yeah the momentum gets pretty confusing because as a rule I wanted there to be 2 types of accelleration to the player, one coming from the player himself by directional input/jumping and the other from external sources such as the ball bounces, the moving platform and the speeders.
But now that I think about it I think I made a little mess with how those two accelerations interact with eachother 😓

Was kind of a slugger.
I eat this shit up most of the time, but this got pretty boring. There was no real reason to build on the world.
Seems like your still working on it, so, lets see what you do.

I figured out how to save-edit.
That became pretty fun.

Love the concept bro
You make great stuff, keep goin
This was a haiku.

Side note:
I dont think the game liked that i ended upside down, because upon trying to play it again, the world was a fuck, possibly the bug that wasn't fixed?
It's funny though. Messed with my brain a bit

I don't doubt that someone might of had a reality somewhat like this, Maybe someone can emotionally resonate with this,
BUT

this isn't a good game. The pace is too slow and its rather boring.

Short, simple, and entertaining. Nice work.

thank you for playing it, I'm glad you've enjoyed (:

My kind of game.
Not for everyone, but damn do i like this.

only gripe i do have is the slow fade between screens.
A blink is ok, but it takes a bit too much time in between.
I'll be playing this for awhile.

Segediinc responds:

Thanks for the feedback yeah i think I will speed it up a bit since I agree with you, after you played for a while you just want it to move along faster

Feels like a run-of-the-mill meta game.
I've played enough of these to understand the joke before you make it.
"Oh no you played our game wrong"
make the mini-game monotonous enough that you don't want to sit through it

Dark souls boss? ridiculously long health bar, but still doable if you want to take the time.
(Edit: Actually, scratch that, you cant actually beat the boss, even if you get it down to health. it will always have a sliver of health. Gonna take off a star for that.)

I mean, dont get me wrong, its fun while it lasts, but im not impressed.

Though i do like how when you scroll away, it pauses. nice touch.

Gets annoying at parts for me, personally, but i like the concept.

I feel like i understand my girlfriend's anxieties a bit more. So, thanks for that.

You have a way with creating short emotional stories.
keep up with it.
